Executive Vice President, Director of Commercial Banking

Michael Jamieson is the Executive Vice President and Director of Commercial Banking of First Midwest Bank. He oversees the bank’s commercial banking divisions, including Middle Market, Business Banking, Specialty Financing, Commercial Real Estate, Equipment Leasing, ESOP, Treasury Management and Healthcare.

Mike has more than 30 years of experience in the banking industry. Prior to joining First Midwest Bank in 2016, he served as Senior Vice President and Market Executive in the Central Region at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where he was responsible for the upper Midwest as well as various specialty groups. He also served as Group Senior Vice President at LaSalle Bank, holding various management positions across several regional and specialty commercial banking groups.

Mike currently serves as the chairman of the Finance & Audit Committee for the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce. He also is a board member for Christ the King Jesuit College Prep (CTK), which is part of the Cristo Rey network.

Mike has an MBA from DePaul University and a bachelor’s degree in Finance from Loyola University.
