Google Pay 

Make secure purchases with your First Midwest Bank Debit Card1 with Google PayTM on your Android device running Android Lollipop 5.0 or above. The Google Pay app may already be on your phone, if not the app can be downloaded from the Google Play store.

Add . . . your First Midwest Bank Debit Card by simply taking a picture of the card within the Google Pay app or manually adding card details.

 

Manage . . . your virtual cards. Make sure your First Midwest Bank Debit Card is set as your default. Simply tap your card to access settings, then tap “Default for in-store payments” to turn this option on.

 

Pay . . . hold your phone near the reader and authenticate your purchase.

 

  • How To Get Started

    It's easy. All you need is an Android device running Android Lollipop 5.0 or above to use Google Pay. In many cases the app is already on your phone.

    • Open the Google Pay app, tap “Payments,” then tap "+ Payment method"
    • Select Credit or debit card
    • Take a picture of your card or enter card details manually
    • Use your device's Touch ID to authenticate your purchase 

    Change your default card 

    To change your default card to your First Midwest Bank Debit Card:

    • Go into the Google Pay app, tap “Payments”
    • Tap the image of your First Midwest Debit Card
    • Tap “Default for in-store payments”
       
    • Where To Use It

      Google Pay can be used in restaurants, your favorite retailers and inside mobile apps.

      For in app purchases, choose Google Pay when checking out and then hold down Touch ID.

      For in store purchases on your Android phone, hold the device near the contactless reader with your finger on Touch ID.
