  • Dean Glassberg - EVP, Director of Middle Market Banking

    Dean GlassbergDean serves as the Director of Middle Market Banking at First Midwest Bank. In this role, he manages the commercial sales activity of clients with revenues between $20-$250 million. In addition, Dean directs the Asset Based Lending and Treasury Management functions of the Bank.

    Dean has over 25 years of experience in the banking industry. His most recent role, prior to rejoining the First Midwest team over 13 years ago was at Bank of America where he was the Vice President in its Strategies Group. Prior to this, Dean held positions in Corporate Treasury Management at AAR Corporation and various positions at NBD Bank / American National Bank.

    With a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from DePaul University, and his MBA from Kellogg School of Management, Dean also serves on the Board of Governors for Lake County Partners, a non-profit organization that works to maintain economic vitality and quality of life in Lake County, Illinois.

    • Dave Knapp - EVP, Director of Specialty Banking

      Dave KnappDave serves as the Director of Specialty Banking at First Midwest Bank. In this role, Dave is responsible for the strategic leadership and commercial sales activity of First Midwest's various specialized industry groups serving the needs of the bank's Agricultural, Food and Agribusiness, and Healthcare clients. Specialty Banking also encompasses the bank's other debt capital markets functions including Structured Finance and Loan Syndications.

      Dave has over 30 years of middle market and specialty banking experience. Prior to joining First Midwest, Dave served as Managing Director and Market Manager for BMO Harris Bank in Chicago where he had P&L responsibility for a division providing asset based, traditional secured and cash flow financing for middle market companies in the greater Midwest. His previous experiences include a variety of middle market and specialty banking relationship management and leadership positions of increasing responsibility with LaSalle Bank and The Northern Trust Company.

      Having received an undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois, Dave is also a member of the Chicago Chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth. He has been involved in coaching youth sports, and has been an active volunteer with a number of charities including DuPage Pads and St. Petronille Church and School. He has also served on a variety of boards including Glen Oak Country Club and Hephzibah Children's Association.

      • Marc Parise - EVP, Director of Commercial Real Estate Lending & Equipment Leasing

        Marc PariseMarc serves as the Director of Commercial Real Estate Lending and Equipment Leasing at First Midwest Bank. In this role, he manages the commercial sales activity of the Commercial Real Estate and Equipment Leasing groups, and provides strategic leadership for this area. Marc has held other executive positions at First Midwest in several areas, including Commercial Banking, Agricultural Lending, and Specialty Lending, with a career spanning more than 30 years at First Midwest in roles such as Regional President and Senior Vice President.

        Prior to working at First Midwest, Marc was a Vice President at First National Bank of Mount Prospect, Vice President at Metropolitan Bank and Trust Company, and Assistant Vice President at Amalgamated Trust and Savings Bank.

        Marc received his undergraduate degree from Northern Illinois University, an MBA from DePaul University, and a Doctor of Business Administration from St. Ambrose University. His dissertation was titled "Formal Mentoring Programs – The Relationship of Program Design to Mentor Perceptions of Benefits and Costs." Marc has several other published works, and has taught undergraduate courses and presented lectures at Knox College, Western Illinois University, St. Ambrose University, University of Iowa, and Augustana College. He also sits on the boards of United Way of Lake County, Youth Conservation Corps, and G&D Integrated.
