Jim Stadler is the Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing and Communications Officer at First Midwest Bank. In this role, Jim is responsible for developing comprehensive, integrated messaging across marketing, communications and public relations to build our brand, reinforce our culture and drive revenue growth.

Jim has more than 30 years of experience in leadership, business growth, innovation and transformation of Fortune 500 and privately-owned companies on both client and agency side. Prior to joining First Midwest in 2018, Jim was Managing Partner and head of business development at Schafer Condon Carter (SCC), an independent creative and technology agency, leading business and strategic planning for SCC clients, including First Midwest. Prior to joining SCC, he was Senior Vice President, Group Management Director at DDB Worldwide and previously held senior marketing roles at McDonald’s and Kimberly Clark.

Jim is actively involved in several professional organizations, including the Commonwealth Club of Chicago, Association of National Advertisers and the Chicago Advertising Federation. He has a bachelor’s degree from Southern Methodist University.
