Rebecca Chamberlin Little, Esq.
Estate Settlement Specialist
Rebecca (Becky) joined First Midwest Bank in July 2013 as an Estate Settlement Specialist with Wealth Management’s Estate Settlement, Contested Trusts and Special Assets division. From simple estate settlement to complex estate settlement involving businesses or other special assets, clients can be assured their estates will be settled in an efficient and expert manner. In situations where a trust is contested by a beneficiary, we step in as the neutral third party and will assist in finding a solution that accomplishes the terms of the trust as well as satisfying disputes between parties.
Prior to joining First Midwest Bank, Becky worked in the private practice of law representing clients in estate administration, estate planning, guardianship and residential real estate transactions, and was a regular volunteer with CVLS as a GAL and in the Cook County foreclosure mediation program. She has experience as an individual trustee and preparing a wide range of Federal and state income, estate and gift tax returns. Prior to practicing law in Illinois, she worked as a member of the tax team at RSM McGladrey in Omaha, Nebraska.
Becky received her Juris Doctorate from Creighton University in 2006 and her B.S.B.A. in Accounting with honors from the University of Nebraska at Omaha in 2003. She is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, Nebraska State Bar Association, and DuPage County Bar Association. She is licensed to practice law in Illinois and Nebraska (currently inactive).
Becky is currently the Treasurer of the Downers Grove North High School Music Boosters, and is a volunteer Youth Leader at St. Paul’s United Church of Christ in Downers Grove, leading the Confirmation class instruction and assisting with the youth band.
