One of the most distinctive properties in the Tinley Park Park District is its premier facility – the Tony Bettenhausen Recreation Center. Conveniently located off Interstate 80 near 80th Avenue and 171st Street right in the heart of the community, the massive rec center features an indoor playground, an indoor jogging/walking track, a gymnasium with three basketball courts and six volleyball courts, several meeting rooms, a museum, arts and crafts room, a Teen/Senior Drop-In Center, and an innovative teaching kitchen.
