Steve has over 29 years of trust experience, joining First Midwest in October 1982. Steve's expertise is in all areas of personal trust administration, estate planning and taxation, and charitable foundations. He is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Illinois State University and a graduate of the American Bankers Association National Graduate Trust School.

In addition to holding the Certified Trust and Financial Advisor (CTFA) designation, Steve is a member of the Board of Directors of Bethany For Children and Families, Crimestoppers of the Quad Cities, Alternatives for Older Adults, and WQPT Public Television. He also serves on the East Moline Municipal Pool Board and is a member of the Quad City Estate Planning Council.

Steve is a life-long resident of the Illinois Quad Cities and lives in East Moline with his three sons.
