All payments are processed immediately and the amount of the transaction
including the tax payment and a convenience fee (minimum $1.00)1, 2 will appear on your
monthly Credit Card statement, or checking account statement. The IRS payment date will be the day on which the transaction
is authorized and completed. It may, however, take the IRS five to seven days to post the payment
to your tax account.
Terms and Conditions
1 Tax payments made with a credit card will be subject to a convenience fee imposed by Link2Gov, which ranges from (2.25% - 2.35%)
of the amount of taxes paid with the card. All payments are processed promptly. The (2.25% - 2.35%) convenience fee
(minimum $1.00) will appear on your monthly card statement as a separate line item from your tax payment amount.
The IRS does not receive any part of this fee. This program is a service of Link2Gov Corp under agreement with the IRS.
2 Tax payments made with a First Midwest Gold Debit MasterCard will be subject to a convenience fee of 1.99%, imposed by
Link2Gov, of the amount of taxes paid with the card. All payments are processed promptly. The 1.99% convenience fee
(minimum of $1.00) will appear on your monthly checking account statement as a separate line item from your tax
payment amount. The IRS does not receive any part of this fee. This program is a service of Link2Gov Corp
under agreement with the IRS.
