Jim joined First Midwest’s Trust Division in August 2007 as a Vice President and Trust Officer. He is primarily responsible for the administration of estates, trusts and guardianship accounts in the Indiana Region. Prior to joining First Midwest, Jim was involved in the private practice of law for over twenty-four years, concentrating in the areas of estate planning, probate and general real estate transactions.

After receiving his Bachelor of Science degree from Western Illinois University, Jim received his Juris Doctor Degree from the Illinois Institute of Technology Chicago – Kent College of Law and was admitted to the Illinois Bar. And, Jim was admitted to the Indiana Bar since joining First Midwest. He is a member of the Indiana State Bar Association, Lake County Bar Association, and the Probate and Trust Law Committee of the Lake County BarAssociation.
