Beginning November 18, you will receive two communications from us which contain your new Company ID, Username(s) and Password(s). Click here for Business Express log in instructions.

Important notes:

  • Account history will begin accruing on Monday, December 5, 2011, and you will now accrue up to 18 months of history.
  • The ACH cut-off time is now 5pm daily.

eStatements

If you currently receive a paper statement and eStatement, you will only receive an eStatement after December 5, 2011. Accounts with eStatements, but no email address on file, will convert to paper statements. Once the eStatement service is active, it will take a full statement cycle before they are available online.

  • Upon logging into Business Express for the first time, you are required to confirm eStatements as your preferred method of statement delivery.
  • Please select the "Statements and Documents" link located within the "Reports" tab.
  • Once confirmed, select the "Preferences" link and change the delivery method to "Online".

This will activate your eStatements service. If you need assistance or have any questions, please call Cash Management Support at 815-927-3010, Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm.

Bank Anytime Users

Now, you will be able to enroll in Business Express. Click here for enrollment instructions. Once enrolled, you will need to establish a secure sign on. Click here for secure sign on instructions.

Using Business Express

To log in, begin by going to firstmidwest.com

Place your cursor over the red "Log In Menu" button at the top of the homepage and select Business Express under the Business Banking column.

Continue the login process by entering the Company ID and User ID that you received from us the week of November 18.

Enter the Password that you received from us the week of November 18. Click the "Sign On" button.

You should now be at your Welcome page.

Enrolling in Business Express

To enroll in Business Express, go to firstmidwest.com. From the First Midwest Bank welcome page, select "Business Banking".

Place your cursor over the "Small Business" menu and select "Business Express", located under our "Cash Flow" options.

Once the Business Express page is available, click on the "Enroll Today" link / button.

Simply complete the online enrollment form and select "Continue".

Once your enrollment is completed, you will see our Business Express Service Agreement. Please review it and click "Agree" to accept the Terms and Conditions.

Finally, you will receive a Welcome Email within 24 to 48 business hours. It will come from "Business Banking", and the subject line will read "Business Express Enrollment Confirmation".

Logging In for the First Time

Business Express uses secure sign on technology to protect you and your accounts. When you log in for the first time, you will be prompted to establish your secure sign on. Once your password has been successfully changed, click "Continue".

Now, click "Begin Setup" to establish your secure sign on.

Your secure sign on is based on a picture and personal phrase. Choose a picture and a personal phrase, then click "Continue Setup".

Now, you'll set up four security questions and answers that you will be able to remember easily. We will ask you two of the four questions if we don't recognize the computer you are using to sign on. When complete, click "Continue Setup".

If you register your computer, you will not be prompted to answer any security questions when logging on. If you do not register your computer, you will be prompted to answer two of the four security questions you established in the previous step. When complete, click "Continue Setup".

Confirm your Business Express password to complete the process, then click "Submit".

Upon successful completion of the secure sign on setup process, you will see the following confirmation screen.
