Spring Ahead

"A change in seasons can provide just the push needed to tackle our to-do lists."

While many of us throughout the country are still shivering our way through blustery weather and unfavorable temperatures, the promise of spring’s arrival provides a much-welcomed glimpse of warmer, livelier times to come.

Spring is also the time when many of us take on new projects. Whether they include a thorough house cleaning, planning your upcoming year’s budget or even a major purchase, a change in seasons can provide just the push needed to tackle our to-do lists.

In this issue of balance, we take that spirit of spring to heart by offering ways to take advantage of this energizing time of year. If you’re looking to make some green – but affordable – changes to your home and daily routine, read “9 Easy Ways to Go Green.” First-time homeowners, or even those looking to refinance, can find tips for choosing “The Perfect Mortgage.”

If you have had enough of the winter blues, read our guide on planning the perfect summer vacation, which can be tailored to your destination, budget and activity goals. Don’t forget to try out our handy “Vacation Planning Checklist” to keep your trip planning organized.

If you’re taking this time of year to plan or revise your personal budget, “Investing in Your Health”  discusses important considerations to make about being prepared for your long-term health care. We break down the different options for insurance and savings that specialize in protecting your needs beyond standard health or life insurance.

At First Midwest Bank, we want to help all of your hard work pay off. Whether you’re just starting out financially, or are ready to begin planning your long-term goals, our banking professionals are committed to creating a plan that works for you. And if nothing else, we hope we can add a little “spring” to your step.

Sincerely,
